Real Life 1976 Pittsburgh Pirates Season

The real life 1976 Pirates were managed by Danny Murtaugh.  They finished the season with 92 wins and 70 losses.  Tragically Danny Murtaugh passed away after the 1976 season.  The great Pirates teams from the seventies continued their winning tradition but failed to win the division title finishing second to the Phillies.  The Pirates started out hot winning their first 5 games and also had a 10 game winning streak during the season.  Here is a link to the 1976 season results http://www.fanbase.com/Pittsburgh-Pirates-1976/schedule.  Here are some notable transactions that occurred during 1976.
The biggest highlight of the season came when John Candelaria pitched a no-hitter against the Dodgers and I vividly remember watching the game on television.  Here is the boxscore:

The Pirates last day they were in first place during the 1976 season was April 25th.  Here is the Pirates record month by month for the season.
